STOP SEARCHING FOLDERS. START WITH THE SHOOT.

Your shoots.
Already brought together.

One card can hold several days. One shoot can span several cameras and cards. CopyDay brings those files together automatically, using capture time.

Every shot from the day.
Without the folder hunt.

Connect your cards and see their shoots together, organized by day—not scattered across camera folders. Find the whole shoot without opening subfolder after subfolder in Finder.

Late finish? Set a custom day boundary, like 4 AM, so the after-party stays with the wedding.

02 / COPY & VERIFY
Primary ✓Backup ✓Third copy ✓

More copies.
Fewer what-ifs.

Import several cards to one, two or three drives at once. Every copied file is checksum-verified, with a live From → To view.

03 / CHECK & REPAIR

See what’s missing.
Make the backup whole.

Compare a shoot file by file across your drives. See missing files, size differences and checksum mismatches—then copy missing files into the right backup folders.

Already sorted your shoot into selects and deselects? Check Existing Import follows the files, so repairs land where they belong.

04 / CARD ASSURANCE

Before you format,
know what’s backed up.

Was that shoot copied? Did every file make it? Card Assurance helps you double-check the shoots still on a card against your backup locations.

See checksum-verified matches, missing files and unresolved items. Keep verified copies and accepted exceptions distinct, so you can make an informed decision before formatting in your camera.

Check the evidence. Inspect your destinations. Then decide.
05 / CALENDAR VIEW

Come for the ingest.
Stay for the way back.

The shoot you remember by its date. The backup you can’t quite place. Browse your import history by calendar, find the shoot and see its recorded backup locations.

Then jump straight to the folder in Finder. CopyDay gets your files onto your drives—and becomes your new favorite way to find a past shoot.

Your shoots, on the days you remember them.
YOUR ORIGINALS STAY ORIGINAL

Your import never changes your cards.

During import, CopyDay reads from your memory cards without changing their files. Keywords, client, location and copyright live in XMP sidecars, keeping copied originals identical to the card.

FOR PEOPLE WHO CAN’T SHOOT IT TWICE

One chance to capture it.
More confidence keeping it.

A FEW THINGS TO KNOW

Before you
plug in.

Is CopyDay Mac only?

Yes. CopyDay is a native macOS app.

What will it cost?

Beta is free; launch pricing announced to the waitlist.

Does it replace Lightroom?

No. It gets your files safely onto your drives first. Then keep using Lightroom or your preferred editing workflow.

Will CopyDay change files on my cards?

Ordinary imports leave source cards untouched. Job information is saved to XMP sidecars alongside your imported files. The separate Card Assurance & Cleanup utility can make reversible moves on a card only when you explicitly choose and confirm a cleanup action.
